U.S. policy's opponents stage protest in Riga's Mezaparks
About 30 people have gathered in Mezaparks near the Riga Zoo this morning to protest against the U.S. President George Bush's policies.
Most of the protesters are youths, they are holding placards that say: «No war for oil», «Imagine George» and others, LETA observed (see [s:7208]).
The Social Democratic Youth Association (JSS) leader Ansis Dobelis told LETA he expected that about 100 people would take part in the protest, which is to end at 2 p.m.
Many mass media representatives observe the protest, including cameramen from five television companies.
